As a development finance institution, we invest in companies operating in the agricultural and services sectors, as well as in industry, infrastructure enterprises, financial institutions, and private equity funds. We currently finance and advise around 620 companies in 76 partner countries, with a total commitment of approximately EUR 11.7 billion. We help them enter new markets, grow successfully, and remain competitive. And this has a real impact on the ground: the companies we co-finance provide around 3 million jobs, generate local income, and improve infrastructure — for example, by promoting the use of renewable energy.
