In 2012, DEG is for the second time co-sponsor of lit.Cologne. On Tuesday, 20 March 2012, the Nigerian author Uwem Akpan will read from his short story collection "Say you're one of them" at DEG.
DEG News: Latin America - Focus for the German Economy
On 30 November 2011, the conference "Latin America - Focus for the German Economy" was held in Berlin. Almost 400 decision makers from industry, politics and society accepted the invitation from KfW Bankengruppe and DIHK (Association of German Chambers of Industry and Commerce) to discuss Latin America’s great economic potential and the market opportunities for German companies arising from it.
