Ideas competition "Topic"

This category defines topics of particular developmental relevance, on which PPP proposals can be submitted.

Current topics are resource and climate protection and energy.
Within this scope, projects from the following areas are possible:

Resource and climate protection

  • Sustainable cultivation of agricultural and forest areas
  • Ecological agriculture
  • Savings and/or replacement of resources
  • Climate-friendly and emission-reducing environmental technology
  • Environmental management systems
  • Introduction and/or improvement of guidelines and standards
  • CDM-relevant projects

Energy

  • Sustainable energy supply
  • Photovoltaics/solar heat
  • Geothermal energy
  • Wind power and hydropower
  • Biomass, biogas, sewage gas
  • Energy efficiency
  • Introduction and/or improvement of guidelines and standards


Ideas competition "Innovation"

This category offers the possibility of submitting proposals beyond the current topic, which contribute to novel solutions of problems in the partner countries and have a particular developmental effect.

Such effect can be obtained, for instance, by optimising existing products or by launching advanced products, processes and technologies in the fields of industry and services.


Applications in both categories may be submitted between 15 February and 31 March 2012.
