2. Atrium Dialogue
“Partners in development: the role of development finance
institutions during the current economic crisis and the views of
our clients”
On 16 September 2009, the second international symposium of the
“Atrium Dialogues” series which DEG launched last year at its new
head office in the centre of Cologne took place in DEG’s atrium.
The conference had the title “Partners in development: the role of
development finance institutions during the current economic crisis
and the views of our clients”. More than 120 participants from
almost 40 countries accepted the invitation and came to Cologne to
discuss the crisis and the special role of development finance
institutions. The focus was on the question of how companies from
various regions of the world assess the situation.
