“Act responsibly – why CSR pays off. Companies report on first-hand experiences”
On 30 October 2008, a symposium entitled “Act responsibly – why CSR pays off. Companies report on first-hand experiences” was held in the atrium of DEG's office building. Renowned entrepreneurs from Europe, developing and emerging-market countries reported on successful CSR measures and discussed the topic with some 100 guests from 25 countries. The conference was based on an evaluation carried out in 2008 on 16 DEG project companies which were assessed for their CSR activities. Examples of the results were presented and discussed during the event.
