In cooperation with EBRD and NUMOV, DEG hosted a conference on market opportunities in the Middle East.
In times of sustained economic growth and political changes in the Middle East, the region is given more and more international attention - also by companies. The Middle East is offering numerous business opportunities to German companies. The countries of the region in turn benefit from the technology transfer from Germany, which in particular is to support the region in its efforts to safeguard its long-term economic independence of fossil resources.

In order to provide an updated picture of the situation, DEG, EBRD (European Bank for Reconstruction and Development) and NUMOV (German Near and Middle East Association) invited companies to attend an expert meeting in Cologne on 12 November. Experts gave differentiated insights into the individual countries and its market potentials and provided practice-oriented information on legal framework conditions and appropriate financing instruments.
