Our current portfolio includes investments in the manufacturing industry, infrastructure and in the finance and service sector. Many sectors, such as the automotive industry, renewable energies and the agro and health sector, have particular potential for investments. It is its situation between Europe and Asia, a large, growing internal market and the international economic integration which make Turkey an interesting place for investors. DEG has been doing business in Turkey since 1967. Since 2011, we have a representative office in Istanbul that serves as the first point of contact for Turkish and international customers active in the region – the office also covers Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq - and to advise them on-site.

In Istanbul we often work closely together with KfW IPEX-Bank. This enables us to offer our customers an attractive one-stop service, especially for larger investments. The partner is located in the same building, so distances are short.
