Complaints Mechanism: all information now available also in Spanish and French
Since February 2014, DEG has had an Independent Complaints Mechanism. This process was established together with our Dutch partner, FMO. Individuals, organisations or other parties who believe to be adversely affected by an investment financed by DEG or FMO can submit a complaint. In this case, an international Independent Expert Panel examines whether the complaint is admissible and is responsible for its further processing.
All information on the mechanism and the documents explaining how to submit a complaint are now also available online in French and Spanish. This way, the access to the Independent Complaints Mechanism has been facilitated.
