Touch Georgia - Contemporary art from Georgia

The exhibition "Touch Georgia“, which is hosted by DEG in Cologne from 24 May to 6 June, presents contemporary Georgian art based on the works of nine different artists. The paintings range from more traditional conceptions and naturalistic representations to abstract paintings. The participating artists include longtime artists, artists of the younger and middle generation, as well as two students enrolled in the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf. Additionally, enamel jewellery - that has a centuries-old tradition in Georgia - is on show.

The exhibition is the result of a joint initiative between DEG and the Georgian TBC Art-Gallery.

The exhibition can be visited Monday to Friday, 2pm to 6pm. Admission is free.
